Kelly Ripa defended herself online after internet trolls accused her of getting a nose job and having veneers.
Last week, the 47-year-old shared a throwback photo from 1997 where she appears alongside her husband, Mark Consuelos, and some people immediately started bashing her.
The incident took place on Ripa's Instagram account and she told the internet trolls that she had never had plastic surgery on her nose.
To the right of the throwback photo was a more recent picture of the couple, which the attackers used as a comparison and the base for their arguments.
NOTHING TO HIDE
The "Live With Kelly and Ryan" show host explained:
"I'm gonna tell you right now. No nose job, and no veneers. I wouldn't be sleeping in a retainer every night if I had. You guys know how to make a girl feel special."
Ripa might have never had her nose worked on by a plastic surgeon, but she doesn't hide the fact that she uses botox on her armpits on a regular basis to prevent sweating.
WHY SHE USES BOTOX
She admitted during an interview back in 2013 to using Botox. Ripa also confessed that she had Botox injected into her eyelids because they tended to drop over her eyelashes.
Using botox on her eyelids is crucial considering that it made her eyes look bigger on television and made her makeup artist's job easier.
BOTOX ISSUE
In 2016, Ripa told Megyn Kelly that she had a bad experience with Botox and that it ruined her smile for six months, during which time she was unable to smile.
The television host was also shamed a few months ago when her husband posted a photo of her wearing a bikini. He quickly jumped to her defense by telling people to get over their "psychosis" and get used to Ripa wearing bikinis whenever she wants.
